Ladies and Gentlemen,
The sole purpose of this blog is to give you--St. Benedict's Prep students, alumni, faculty, and friends--and me a place to easily keep in touch with each other. I can't thank you all enough for everything you've given me, and I hope you'll stop by this blog often and keep me posted on the goings-on in your lives. I know you'll all continue doing great and impressive things.
See you soon!
-Mr. Berger
Hows it been Mr Berger. Everything's the same as usual for here: miserable.
ReplyDeleteT!!! Great to hear from you my dude. Thanks for the update on the House, sounds like you are doing well. I'm doing great. Planning on dropping by the House sometime this month, you better be around when I do. Give my best to the guys, except for the ones you don't think I'd give my best to. PEACE!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing you. Glad to hear that all is well. I hope im hear when you pass by. Hopefully i'm not taking pictures somewhere when you return.
ReplyDeleteHey how's it going Mr.Berger long time weird not having you around how's it going on your end.
ReplyDeleteKukiele! You're right, it has been long, and I have to admit, there have been times when it has felt weird not being around Leahy House since I lived there for over two years. Things are going great for me. I am really enjoying the recent changes in my life. Miss you guys though. How are things with you? I hope everything is going well.
DeleteHey Mr. Berger. How are things with you? Things are going here (probably the best way to put that). We now have a new potential candidate for the monastery, so gradually, I am having him help me with what I do in the monastery.
ReplyDeleteBr. Thomas, great to hear from you. The new candidate is exciting. Good to know things are going (I think!). Give my best to Ms. Hall.
DeleteLike I said, things go here (happen and change).
DeleteHello Mr.Berger. How are you. Everything is still the same accept for Frank Hill. Group is not as fun with out you.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Unknown! I miss you and the other Frank Hillbillies! Have fun without me!
ReplyDeleteHey Mr. Berger! I just wanna thank you for everything you taught me about writing English papers, my life has been so much easier. The things I have learned in your class are still tuck on me which has helped me for the better. I hope your having the best wherever you currently are. It's tough not seeing you here at SBP and hearing your funny jokes. You were probably the coolest teacher here and it stinks that the current Freshman do not get to experience it, however things happen for a reason. Hopefully you visit the whole school, and not just Leahy house haha. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteJerry--I was DEFINITELY the coolest teacher at SBP! Just kidding! But not really. I couldn't be happier to know a solid chunk of our shared time has stuck with you--I certainly continue to think about good times at SBP with you and everyone else. Kudos on the backhanded coup de grace BRO (look up coup de grace): I will definitely stop by SBP the school soon. For Convo even! Blessings back at you, be well. Keep stopping by the blog, it was great to hear from you.
DeleteHey Berger. Its Ben.
ReplyDeleteHey Ben. It's Berger.
DeleteMr. Berger! What's up? I hope all is well with you and your wife. Thought I'd let you know that I found some of my freshman year essays and used your critique on them to help me with a final essay I had for a class. I bet the new job is better than Benedict's (hope they don't see this -- who cares). Molina took over your hall but he's nothing like you. I've got one last semester to go. I hope I can make it out..shoot, I pray I do. Looking forward to your next visit.
ReplyDeleteHey Tee!
DeleteSorry I deleted your post, I am trying to keep it PG around here ;)
I hope you have a great idea...glad you are staying on top of some tough obstacles. Hope everything works out...
Best,
Mr. B
Mr. Berger! I'm hoping that you still check this blog. If not, maybe one day you will (hopefully). I've moved out of the Leahy House and before I left, I stayed a last few moments in my room remembering the people who left before me and impacted my life in some way. I thought of you and a few others. You were without a doubt, one of the realist people at Benedict's. Still the best freshmen teacher out there too; even if that's not what you're doing now. I hope all as been well.
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how wonderful it was to read this post. To have one of the attributes you listed would be rewarding, but to know that I impacted your life is beyond words. Thank you, T. I miss teaching you and living with you guys...all is good with me. How are things with you? I hope moving out has been a good thing. Looking. forward to hearing from you.
